Welcome to the Homestead.  Homestead Morgans overlooks the beautiful Peace River Valley in the north east corner of British Columbia.  Named The Homestead because like the pioneers before us, we have put our blood, sweat and tears into this slice of heaven that has claimed our souls.

We are indeed fortunate that John and I both have a passion for the Morgan breed.  Although we both bring totally different qualities to our breeding program, our ideas and thought patterns generally tend to harmonize.  We find peace and happiness in working around the Homestead and being with our Morgans.

Although we have a passion for buckskins, our love does not relax our standards.  We demand the highest quality and a perfect disposition from all our Morgans.  Then and only then do we look at the colour.  As breeders, we feel that it is our responsibility to do right by the breed and leave the next generation with a Morgan they can be proud of.

John and I are extremely pleased with the Morgans we have been producing on the Homestead.  It is important that our Morgans go into good and loving homes and that each horse and it's new owner are well suited.  To do any less would be a disservice not only to our Morgans but our customers.  Homestead Morgans can be found in homes across Canada, the United States and now Europe.

The Homestead now has two official goodwill ambassadors.  Buckwheat and Alfalfa are mini short haired dachshunds that always make us smile.
