Hmstd Rhythm N BluesTo say that this buckskin filly is a sweetheart would be the under statement of the year.  They just don't come with a nicer disposition than Hmstd Rhythm 'n' Blues.

We are just so excited to have Debbie Crowder join the Homestead KinFolk family.  Debbie lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and has 5 beautiful morgans and 1 hinny.  It is not easy to let these little ones go but it eases the pain when you know such a fine individual will be caring for them. We wish Debbie and Rhythm many many happy years.

There will always be a special place in our hearts for Hmstd Shuda Bin A Cowboy aka Mr. Personality.   Cowboy was the foal that was the inquisitive one, always thinking and checking everything out.  It seems fitting that Cowboy will be going to the Davis California area to live with Jennifer Ott.  Jennifer trains Morgans and Quarter Horses  in the disciplines of western trail, pleasure and equitation.  We look forward to watching Jennifer and Cowboy compete in the future.  They are going to make an awesome pair!

Update: March 29, 2004 - We received this message:
Janine,
"I was impressed with Cowboy the moment he stepped out of his trailer (which he'd been in for two days!) and calmly took in his surroundings. After a few days of getting to know and trust me he became glued to my side. He has been extremely trainable because of his calm and sensible disposition and I look forward to riding him. His conformation is excellent and he should be quite tall which is what I wanted since I'm almost 6 ft. I would have no hesitation being a repeat customer of the Welsh's as they sell wonderful horses and were professional and very friendly."

From the moment Hmstd Don't Fence Me In was born he has had a presence about him. Even as a weanling this stunning colt shows great promise of being a fine breeding stallion. We are very pleased that Barb and Dan Laundenslayer of Boyertown Pennsylvania have decided to add Hmstd Don't Fence Me In to their fine program. It is their plan to cross Freedom with their Stormwashed fillies.

Hmstd Chicklette is heading to Wyoming ~ The Cowboy State.

She will be grazing where the deer and the antelope play, and where the buffalo still roam. Shery and Lynn Jespersen of Upton, WY have waited a long time to add quality gold to their breeding program. We are as pleased as they are that their search ended with Chickie.

Lil Bit is Zipper's first and only filly of the season and he sure produced a good one. picure of Hmstd Lil Bit of HeavenThis buckskin  sweetheart has a presence about herthat just seems to draw you in.Hmstd Lil Bit of Heaven has been selected to take up residence with the beautiful Morgans of Wolf Creek Ranch in Grass Valley, California.

We would like to thank Debbie and Eitan Beth-Halachmy for purchasing the first Homestead Morgan. Lil Bit can't help but have a great future in store for her under the direction of this great trainer.
