It has always been a part of our plan to add a bay stallion to our
program. Finding one that met our criteria and had the disposition and "look" that we were looking for almost made our search impossible. Of
course, that was until Scandias Simply The Best was born. By UVM Coming
Attraction and out of Scandias Carribean Queen this young colt is
royally bred and not only has UVM breedings through his top side but
also adds the blood of one of our favourite stallions Scandias Carribean
Blue to the mix.
This young colt is exactly what we have been looking for. He is a very
typey Morgan with a gorgeous head and those big wide set eyes. He is
very accepting of new situations and has a heart of gold. Simply The
Best comes alive when he moves and it is during these times that we
marvel at what a wonderful young colt we have acquired.
It was tough finding the right barn name for Simply The Best but one day
when I was bonding with him I said, "well hello handsome" and I knew
that would be his name.
We have big plans for our Handsome. In the future he will be crossed
with our Rum Runner and Zipper daughters to produce what we feel will be
some outstanding Morgans. We will be forever grateful to Kathy and
Vince DeFazio of Scandia Morgans for this exceptional colt.
